Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

Do you dress up in costume at work?
Do you go with your kids trick or treating?
Do you have many kids come to your door?
Are you a cheerful giver?
Do you buy candies/chocolate bars that you like, so if left over, you can eat them yourself?
----------------------------------------------------------------

We used to 'have to' at my other job, at this one, it's up to us, so I don't.
Kids are all grown up.
Sometimes we have one or two kids come, sometimes none.
I am a cheerful giver, but there isn't many kids to give to.
Answer to last question, YES!

You are just a little dickens, that's what you are!

One of the funny guys at work makes fun of my hairdo by calling it a helmet. He always leaves me in stitches just like you!

Funny thing is, the only difference I can see is the hair.

No, Duke, the scary mask stays on; gotta be me!

Re: Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

Don't think I will be dressing up for work...it's casual friday and I like wearing normal clothes on friday.

Last year the president of the company came to work in a chicken suit - he looked like big bird - and gave everyone candy.

I don't know if anyone will come to our house, probably considering there are a ton of kids in this neighborhood. I won't be giving candy out though as I will be at a party.

Re: Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

We usually get just a handful of kids so I am thinking I am going out tomorrow night. It is my day off too so won't know if anyone would have dressed up. Not many do usually anyway.

Re: Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

This year I'm only buying Reese's Peanut Butter Cups as those are loved by my husband. Not buying any single chocolate bar that I like as I have a weakness for some and think nothing of throwing those little morsels in my mouth and then wonder why I can't lose weight.

I have to buy something in case some kids do show up.

Re: Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

Undecided as to what I will do this year. Don't want to be home so might go out again. My daughter will be home so I guess I will see what she is doing.

Re: Hallowe'en is Coming Soon...

The one good thing about living in an apartment is that kids don't really come to look for candy; of course that doesn't stop me from buying it.
