As I'm trying to make a life change in eating better such as more fruit, vegetables, drinking more water (that's not working too well, the water part, I mean) and exercising 5-6 days a week for an hour each day. So....for Hallowe'en every year I buy my/my husband's favourite chocolate bars to give away. Since we hardly have any kids come around, guess where the chocolate bars end up
Anyway, this year I bought different bars, and I NEED to be held accountable to have not EVEN one! If one of you supports me, I PROMISE to tell you the truth, if I make it or not....

You will not eat the yummy chocolate. It is evil!

So...does that mean you will hold me accountable?

Yes, indeed. I will hold you accountable. The chocolate is evil!

I don't remember a particular costume right now but I do know that Halloween was one of my favorite times of year when I was growing up.

Thanks, Vautrin, very timely post, I'd say! I know I didn't buy my favourite chocolate bars, but 'Coffee Crisp' comes close and I've got two bags of them. So now that I KNOW you'll hold me accountable, it will be easier not having any; I'll just keep repeating "evil, evil, evil, evil", until the urge to eat any leaves...

I've stayed firm on my diet because I was determined to lose every last pound of flab and fat before I was too old to enjoy the result.
My favorite costume growing up was when I was about 6 and my mom made me a Pocahontas indian custome with a baby doll carrier in the back. I really thought I looked special. I need to scan in one of those pics.

Not one single chocolate bar was had by me! No kids here and I gave the chocolates to my friend; Vautrin, thanks for holding me accountable! I'm SO proud of myself...to tell the truth, it wasn't all that painful! It's definitely a mindset I have to get into...

I can't say the same. I have been eating Milk Duds since yesterday (Halloween).
