Grocery Store List

I'm off to the grocery store. Do you generally make a list based on your projected menu or just purchase whatever suits you at the time?

I'm an avid list purchaser.....but I still forget stuff. HAHA!

i go to the grocery store almost everyday, i should just plan ahead.

We have no menue but when i stay home in May I will start that

I'm anal about the grocery thing. I make a menu off of the on sale flyer and then make the list off of the menu. I'm a total advocate of Food Lion. It's the only grocery store Ican afford and their store name brands are usually very good.

I go to the store based off of what I'm hungry for. Large grocery shops for me only result in wasted food and throwing stuff away.

Since I live in mexico ( kidding... but I might as well) we have farmers markets here, I can get all our fruits, veggies and even flowers for under $20.00 and that's ALOT of stuff.

Then I usually run to the Butcher and grab some meat when I do cook it's only sald meat and a veggie. No gormet food here :?

That's still more than I do when it comes to cooking, I hate cooking unless it's BBQ.

I made a list for Friday evening, and forgot to buy the first item on it! That's what happens when I don't mark off the list as I go...

Most of the time I don't take a list. I just get the staples that I usually know I need. The rest is what ever looks good while I am there. Occasionally I decide while I am shopping what to have that night and buy all I need for that then. I don't cook much anymore buy more frozen foods for my husband to cook for himself. My refrigerator looks bare most of the time.
