Great Online Party!!!!
I had so much fun !!! It was just great!!!
Thanks to Duke for his unwavering patience in setting me up with MSN when I was ready to give up!
Duke, now that I'm cold sober I need a refresher course...but please get yourself ready for this latest onslaught by having a bottle of Rum at the ready...either that or Valium....I'll take notes this time....
I wanted to get in this morning, but couldn't...
Poor Duke, having to admit his Mother is way less than smart with new things on the Computer...
I hope you other loyal Lifesupporters members will PM him a message of Sympathy through this very trying time...

Okay, never mind...I went through that whole stupid post and went back to MSN and actually looked at some stuff and it wasn't difficult at all...now the next trick is to remember what I did...
I have no patience with instructions...one of my worst traits...thank God I have some good traits to fall back on or right now I would be getting a noose attached to a beam to the ceiling...

it was a lot of fun. i really enjoyed the chat party. i hope we do this again soon.
Luba, you'll eventually learn things. it all takes time. My parents were the same way when they got their computers. i bugged them to get one and now dad bugs me to explain things to him. i don't mind. i'm sure duke doesn't mind helping out his mom either.
dad's had his computer now for almost a year and he's doing good on it. he talks to me on msn with the mic and the webcam and even played a game of crib with me online once in awhile.
it jsut takes time. we've all been there.

Thanks for your very kind, kind words, Star! They are what I needed to hear because I have tears in my eyes after reading your caring and sympathetic response!!
I did have an outdated Computer, wasn't connected to the Internet, so I spent very little time on it. I can't believe the advanced technology in the space of time since I bought the other one.
I should find some time with some easy Computer books...so much to take in, though. People growing up in the Computer age just don't realize how difficult it can be for us that grew up in the Stone age... :?

The more you use it the easier it becomes. The chat was fun.

Yes the chat was very fun, maybe we should make it a bi-monthly event or perhaps quarterly. I'm looking into calendars for this site so we'll have a comprehensive scheduling system to go by.
Luba, you will have to start reading instructions if you want to learn on your computer and be patient. You wanted to know how I learned to skin vehicles, run websites, etc., well its through patience, trial and error and a lot of searching/reading/testing. The more of these above traits you can exploit, the better you'll be on the computer, faster.

I forgot about the whole thing. Later, when Meanon mentioned the chat in the email....I thought she was referring to another site. I'm such an idiot!
It's my own fault for not posting last week.
You'll do fine on the puter Luba. Just give yourself time to get used to it. I've been on the puter for years and still screw stuff up.
