the cruise is to the carribean (not sure of all the stops), the ship is the star princess (princess cruise lines) and the reason we're able to go is cus my uncle and his fiance got a really good group rate.
Since we don't have much money for shore excursions, and since I've been to all the places before, I'm planning on either staying on the ship or going on shore to walk around and take pics.

Cruises are dirt cheap........ if you live in the states. I Live in Florida so a cruise for me cost around $300.00 for 3-5 days with food included... that's cheap

Yeah....if you have a good port close by....you can pick up a cruise for a really reasonable price. Like Stoneheather said....in Florida they are cheaper than any other type of vacation due to meals being included....and they are FABULOUS meals.
My best cruise was actually on a Navy Destroyer (USS Hancock) a few years ago. It was only for 1 day....but they shot off the guns and everything. I was high for days in sheer joy!
Random....where are you guys going on your cruise? You'll love it. There isn't anything better in the whole world than floating at sea.
Guest = Merika.....not SURE what happened there!

Cruises are cheap if you live in a city that is either a port or a Gateway. I live in neither and pay in CDN funds so I get hit pretty hard if I want to book a cruise.

Carnival can be really cheap if you book 6 months in advance, but all the money you guys have to pay to travel from Canada will probably be more expenseive than the cruise itself.

Yeah.....when we are getting blown away from hurricanes.....Florida doesn't seem like a great place to live. All in all though....we have it made here when it comes to vacation fun.
I live a few minutes from the beach, a couple of hours from Disney World, Epcot, Universal, etc., cruises and fishing excursions are cheap and I'm 5 minutes from off shore gambling on great casino boats. SOOOOO....it's nice!
And I'm sitting in shorts.....while the rest of the world has begun to shovel snow......
