Check out this cool bus shelter!
When you were a kid.....did you ride a bus, car ride, bike or walk?

I rode the bus for the most part but biked the 3 or so miles as much as possible. It was difficult because I lived out of town and was on the tennis team with no ride to and from practice which left me on the opposite side of town with no way home.
It's no wonder why I spent much of my life at 6' tall and approx. 145lbs.

I rode the bus and hated it. I especially hated waiting for the bus in the dead of winter. It was so cold! We lived across town from our school so the bus ride was a long one at that.

You must know my grandfather, he did the same only it was 30 below, uphill both ways and the family was too poor to afford boots.

I was thinking the same thing as Duke posted. It was just the way you worded it DA.....and it was funny!
I rode a bus for quite a long haul when I was in elementary school. After that we moved and I got to ride with my Mom, who was a teacher at the High School, until I had my own car.
Did anyone check out that bus stop above.....wasn't that just interesting?

I went to 4 different high schools because we moved so much back then. The first one I went to, I had to walk. It was a very long walk! The 2nd one I took the city bus. The 3rd one was pretty much in my backyard so I walked there. The 4th I also walked. The nice thing about going to so many high schools was all the friends I'd make. I knew people all over the city. that was cool.

You're a rarity star, most kids would have hated it and hated their parents for making it happen in the first place.

3 of those schools were in the same city so i found it great to meet people from all over town. i kept all my old friends from the other schools too. the last one was a tough one for me. it was here where i live now and i didn't know a sole. i didn't like that too much whihc is probably why i moved back to my home town at 16.
We've moved quite a bit too in the past 2 years and kassandra has friends in 4 different cities now. She still talks to all of them on msn. she didn't mind it either. When you look at it from that perspective, how can you go wrong with it?
