There is one this coming Saturday, and I knew there was going to be one soon just by how I feel before or on the day of...I'm just "off", not miserable or anything, just "off". I also know one is coming without looking at the calendar by the way people act at work, the prelude to the oncoming one has started already!more chest hair, too! Just kidding!
In Dutch the terms for "moon" and the classical term for "having your period" are etymologically closely related (though it is a word, noone uses anymore, but that is a different matter). So yes, there may be connections between the two.
Also, the moon plays an important role, for tides and such. And that may have an effect on human beings too.
