I actually troll or lurk on a couple of boards I never post in. Do you have any forums/board you read and enjoy but don't participate in?

There are a few boards in the past which I regularly visited without posting. On some I do post, on others not; but when I finally started posting on messageboards, I soon lost interest to follow other boards.

I post in all boards that i belong to. i have lost interest on a few that i joined months ago already. Lifesupporters is my favorite board to go to though.

For the ones that surf other boards, do you use the same username you have here or a different one? I use star everywhere. easier for me to remember who i am on these boards.

I try to stay true to Duke in all the forums I frequent. I have been considering an ID change though but it would be funny to be anything other than d00k me thinks.

i've had the username star ever since i got on the internet in 1996. i've always been star. it would be weird to have a different username. I'd probably answer to star if someone called it out in real life! LOL

Being much younger, I have had the weirdest addresses.
I always ask people where they think my hotmail address comes from. It has a very distinctive feature, but no one thus far has made the connection between that feature and the reference.
My Yahoo-address on the other hand, was originally an address I used to play chess for free online. Given that I am quite good at the game (my scores average 90%), I could not settle for a neutral name in that regard.

My forum usernames come from the same story, Balzac's Lost Illusions. Funnily though, Vautrin itself is an assumed name in that story too.
