SH can moderate her own threads.....HAHA!

I was simply suggesting beaver meat was considered a good thing to eat in Canada. We don't have beaver meat in Florida....we have cooter...which I believe is a type of possum. Not sure. 8)

Why wouldn't beaver meat be a good thing to eat anywhere?

My understanding is that it is excellent with a little mint jelly!

I've never seen in served in a resturant here. It was explained to me that it was battered in fried in Canada. I'm not sure about the jelly part.....hehehe!

it's the first i've heard about beaver meat being considered a good thing here in canada and i've lived in this country all of my life. I wouldn't touch any meat like beaver, bear, or anything that's road kill. YUK!!

no bear is not roadkill. roadkill would be squirrel, possum, racoon, skunk...
