Erika's First Birthday Today!
I can't believe she's 1 today already! seems we just brought her hom from the hospital. time sure flies!
She's got tons of presents and i'll be making her a tiny little cake just for her this morning. she's going to be full of that cake at dinner! LOL! the best gift of all today is that the children's aid is closing our case this afternoon. the social worker is soming so krystal and i can sign the papers. they see no need to stay involved as they see that we don't need any help from them. they trust my judgements and decisions so they're going to leave it at that and move on. i'm thrilled!!  I'll post some pics of her first birthday later on in the week.

we spoiled her rotten today. she got her first nugget happy meal for supper and absolutely loved it! she ate 2 nuggets and some fries.

she had cake twice yesterday. means 2 baths. LOL! she loved that chocolate! I think the first birthday is so hillarious. their first taste of chocolate cake. priceless.

i have some of mom with erika. Krystal was here all day until her outburst. she gave erika a cake after lunch and i took a couple pics. they just didn't turn out very nice so i didn't post them. Krystal was here from 8:30 am until about 5:00 pm.
thanks luba. she is a beautiful little baby but i could be just a tad biased.  her pictures show her happiness. she's a happy baby always. Kassandra went out tonight (with gerry of course) to walmart and spent her 50.00 that she had on erika. she bought her a blue's clues talking, dancing dog. erika is absolutely going to love it! kassandra was on a school trip until yesterday so she didn't have time to shop for erika's birthday. erika is going to love this blues clues dog. she loves anything that plays music.
