Email Buddies
Do you have anyone on your email list who you have emailed with a long time and don't have memory as to how you even met?
I have a retired lady from up north who is a liberal and a retired black man in SC who sends me great pics of his dog 'Recon'. As far as I know, we've never shared a forum or have any joint friends. I have no idea where they came from.
There is another guy who is a friend of a past boyfriend from over 5 years ago. Neither of us are in touch with the guy we both knew....but still email each other. That's odd....but at least I remember how we met. LOL!

No, I've not been online long enough plus I stopped giving my email address out so much a while ago.
It is the online equivalent of what we were talking about on another thread: bumping into someone you've met in a bar, at work, at a play and wondering where you know them from. At least you're consistent

I am so bad about returning e mails... so I apoligise to anyone here who has sent me some.
My address list is BOMBARDED by friggin male pigs instead of giving out my number I give my email... works like a charm. But I should have had a seperate account. I only did that when I was clubbing and I haven't done that in awhile.

No I really do not have the email "ghost" relationships. Certainly haven't the "male pig" problems of Heather!
But, I've recently investigated the possability of starting an "E-mentoring" program here at school, and am considering writing a grant to try to receive funding for a pilot program next year.

That's a really interesting website Samson. I know the Army uses the same concept between a sargeant and whoever he is 'mentoring' in his team. Most is done through the email program.
It could end up being very time consuming though....depending on how many participants you had.

Well, it is supposed to be less time consuming than the traditional Mentoring programs, but I see what you mean. In writing a grant for the program, I've been advised to budget a salary and benefits package for the director!
So much for a small pilot project.
