Easter Arrives Early This Year
Have you made any plans? What do you normally do on the long Easter Weekend? Do you get Easter Monday off from work? Do you colour and hide Easter eggs?

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
Haven't really thought of what I will do this year. I don't think either of my kids will be home so maybe just go out and eat somewhere. I don't get anytime off from work because of Easter. Don't color eggs anymore, no one to do it for.

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
Easter is a kids day and since my child is never with me I usually don't do anything special.

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
I don't know. I know Easter is a national day off, so I am looking forward to that aspect.

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
Do we get a day off for Easter here too?
...if so I'm gonna get drunk.

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
I am afraid not. Unless you work on a Sunday or for a government agency.

But check. It could be stipulated in your contract.

I doubt it, our Fascist bosses don't believe in giving anymore than the pittance required by law.

Somehow I think I know what joke-present you gave them last X-mas.

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
In Canada we get Good Friday off as well as Easter Sunday, and most even are fortunate enough to get Easter Monday off with pay, unless you work in Retail!

Re: Easter Arrives Early This Year
I thought some photoshopping on some dubious 1930s political poster might have been your idea of expressing your gratitude for your bosses.
