Does you house smell nice?

What all do you use around your house to make sure it smells nice all the time? There are fabric freshners, carpet freshners, sprays, gels, candles, plug into wall packs, etc. etc. I read an article that said all those thing do is put an oily residue in up your nose to desensitize your smelling ability and then mask any remaining scent with their own smell. I do NOT know if that is true. I do know many people are allergice to them.

I love candles that smell like coffee. I also use a fabric refreshing spray on the curtains and furniture once a week because we have a dog and cat.

I use lilac air fresheners...used to use the plug-ins somewhat until I got an E-mail about a fire started because of them

we always have a scented candle going when we are home. right now apple orchard is on

I love scented candles as well but will not use any in case our kitty knocks it down...she's very inquisitive

I use the plug-in things, both oils and the solid stuff. I also use candles once in awhile and I have an electric potpourrie pot that I use when I can find the oils to put into it.
