do you consider yourself a risk-taker, why and what or who has influenced, if at all? what traits would you use to describe a risk-taker?

I am not a risk-taker at all. But once I set my mind to something, I stick to it - even if it seems risky at the time itself.
A risk-taker definitely has to believe in the feasability of his designs, and not be easily persuaded otherwise. Also must be able to avoid thinking too much about what can go wrong.

I'm moving to the other side of the country to work in the middle of nowhere, away from any females, to make hordes of money in order to follow my dreams. Does that count?

I guess. I suppose what I meant was that I don't usually take risks as a rule but I have done things out of necessity or for entertainment that involved some risk. Very rare for me however therefore not a risk taker by definition.
