I didn't go anywhere today. It's so humid out there that you get all sticky the minute you go out that door. I'll probably go out tomorrow though.
I always smile.

Is waking up or being chipper in the morning predominantly a female trait? I have a real tough time being chipper and upbeat when I first wake up and need about a half hour to an hour before I start getting pestered.

I'm not chippery first thing in the morning either. I get up about 1/2 hour before erika does. I need a couple of smokes to wake up first then I go get her and I'm all smiles because she's all smiles. can't help it! kids will do that to ya!

It depends on wheather or not I had my coffee yet. But generally, I love mornings, I have the feeling I can do everything, enjoy myself, work, take time for myself. I'm usually wrong, but I like to live in this lie,LOL!

Coffee in the morning makes me feel ill and nauseous for the rest of the day. But once the first 2-3 hours have passed, I am a happy coffee-drinking man.
The first hours of the day are the most terrible. I wish I could somehow skip them, as my mind is a bit on the numb side then.
As for smiling, I do it every day. Be it that I am glad that I see something beautiful, think of something beautiful, or slightly mockingly at human stupidity.

I only drink coffee if I've had no sleep and need something to give me a buzz.
I'm definately not a morning person but most of the gals I've known are. I guess that's why I was curious if it was predominantly a female trait.

My mother is absolutely not a morning person. She needs 45 minutes to rise (starting from the first time the alarm rings, until the sixth time). Add in that she always gets two cups of coffee, and you know how hard it is for her to rise. It is as if her mind needs a kickstart everyday.

Did you remember to smile today?
I hope this pertains to a subject that can be used everyday....
I've not only been smiling, I've been doing some pretty hysterical laughter just browsing through the Website and the jokes and responses that I've read!
I thought since I'm new and so anxious to join you wonderful people I would post a new topic about being morning or night people, than I find out reading this Subject...it's been here already!
I guess my lesson is to read everything first and then think of something  ????
