Did you ever know that you're my hero?
Libby Dole- showing me women achieve powerful positions AND remain a lady
Audrey Hepburn and Angelina Jolie- for bringing beauty, grace, support, and attention to children who have rarely seen one, let alone all, of these gifts
My Family- for showing me how much good can come from a strong untied front that does not surrender its values
Shaq- one of the class acts that shine in the slum that has become ProSports
I'll add more as I think of them- there are many people I admire

For me it was John Candy. He was a kind and generous man who lived life large but never allowed it to change his character. I also love Jay Leno for the simple fact that a lot of his humor is directed toward himself as much as it is outward, Candy was the same way. I call it kind humor.

Don't laugh but Cernal Sanders.... Yes the KFC Guy is also an amazing person. He received his 1st social security check at 65 and said I can't live off this but I have a great chicken recipie... so he went to tons and tons of restaurants to try to sell the recipi and he herd 1800 No's ( after that I'd say my chicken recipi isn't so good) but he tried and tried and kept on trucking and look now he's Chicken Capital USA!! LMAO
I love entrepenuers, currently I am reading the Bill Gates story.

From the time I was 12/13... I had a major crush on Ronald Reagan and followed his career avidly. While other girls posted pics of movie and rock stars....I had pics of Ronnie everywhere.
I thought he was handsome, wonderful, witty, spiritual, intelligent and he cared about his country. He remains, in my mind, as being the perfect man.

It's funny how Reagan and Clinton both seem to have fan clubs for lack of a better term. I don't think you'll be hearing women speak as fondly of Bush as they do of Clinton.

One hint.....NEVER put Clinton in the same sentence as Reagan or our beloved Bush boys. He's not in the same league! He's a philanderer, a cartoon and OH GAWD....a Democrat!
LMAO!

Currently - one of my heroes is more of a group than an individual. My wife got me sucked into Extreme Makeovers - Home Edition. The stuff the do for the families is awesome.

I love that show too! I'd be willing to screw a house all up just for the chance of them coming to fix it. Ahhh.....3 days with THOSE boys....
I watch all the other decorating shows on TLC also. I'm like a junkie for them.
