I don't recall ever going to a summer camp. I have gone to a christen camp when I was in high school and a sixth grade camp in grade school but not really a summer camp.

I did. I went to Baptist Bible Camp every year at Lake Swan. I looked forward to it every year! It was a whole different atmosphere, I made good friends, and we had a great time. I think all kids should get an experience like that in their life if possible. My kids have never been to a summer camp due to finances.

I would hate it too, so I don't think I missed too much.

Went every summer for 8 years and loved every minute of it. It was a
4-H camp. I think every child would benefit from going to camp. It teaches you a lot about yourself and others. Also...where else would I have learned to count how many board feet of wood is in any given tree?
