meats, ham, roast beef, salami. Cheese: american provalone, mozeralla, letuce, tomato, mustard, mayo.

i get the assorted (ham, spice loaf, salami) no tomato, lettuce, onion, sub sauce, salt & pepper, double cheese heated. sometimes i'll get hot peppers on there too. YUM YUM!! now i want a sub!

Never had that - a sub.
They have paninis here that are very good. And sanwiches with pita bread and smoked salmon (and spread cheese) are decent. Unimaginateve, but decent.
Sorry to hijack... what should I try in the US in term of food? Except for McDonalds, of course!!!!

I went to a Deli today for lunch and had a Gyro with everything.

I love pita sandwiches too! as a matter of fact, i made myself one for lunch today. I fill it with lettuce, cheese and today was geona salami. YUMMY!!!
there's a pita place at the plaza down the street that sells excellent pita sandwiches.

A Gyro is Greek it's Pita bread with a lamb/ beef filling with a creamy cucumber sauce.. there really good

You are right DA..no matter what anyone comes up with...it's hard to beat a good old American hambuger....no matter what.
For subs though....I order what is called around here as a 'Destroyer'...which includes what all you listed DA. I like it toasted..........YUMMY!
