Daylight Savings Time Coming Up AGAIN
April 2, 2006 for US, and March 26, 2006 for EU.
We talked about this last year....but here's a question. I was reading this:
On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.
I was wondering just what the heck difference a couple of weeks could possible make. All that money wasted on research and political crap. At least though....we'll be in the same cycle as Europe and it won't get so confusing....unless you live in Arizona...who doesn't participate.

But do the Europeans have the same schedule for daylight savings? I doubt it.

You will find out in a week's time. When you run in the office early or late :P.

That's so funny...actually I was talking about President Bush's decision to change the times of the year instead of how it's been all along...I don't know if Canada will change to keep up with the States on that decision

I don't know either. I imagine for business' along the border it would be the best thing. Plus, ours won't change unless they find good utility saving reason for us to do so. If that is proven, then Canada will probably want the savings too.
I think they are all in it together to drive us NUTS. Next week my daughter has to get up to the equivalent of 4:00 AM. She'll get used to it after a couple of weeks, but that's hard for kids.

Some provinces here stay the same all year round, some of us change our time...what's up with that? I agree, Merika, the first week is the toughest!
