I only buy a gift for my husband before Christmas. We go shopping at the Coast with Duke, his brother, and my two granddaughters when I arrive there, that way we all have two Christmases. It's wonderful to be there and shop with all of them, more fun and seeing little girls' eyes light up, that's MY Christmas gift from them! LOVE that!

That sounds so nice. Maybe when my kids have kids of their own we will do that too.

It's just the BEST! That way they pick out what they want and they've already had their first Christmas for unwrapping gifts. It's SO much fun! Toys R Us is the best!

Congratulations on beating the 1,000 post mark tkdlady.

This year I am lucky. I am spending Christmas in Memphis, at my gf's mother's place. I don't have to buy her family gifts, but only for her. Could be worse

Hmm I get home december 27th...I'm starting it december 27th. No sense lugging a ton of presents with me incase my luggage gets lost or whatever. Besides, I can buy more after christimas, what with all the boxing day sales and stuff.

I normally wait until the last possible second and then get everything all at once.

This year I tried something different and actually started shopping this past weekend, completely by accident of course

My guess is that the calendar was on December instead of November ;-)
