I feel guilty when I've made it to too much work.

I never was away from work for more then a couple days (when i did work). If i lied about being sick, yes I'd feel really guilty because I hate lying and i'm bad at it. I remember being sick as a dog and still going to work. I was on my own though and needed the money. couldn't afford to miss work at all. that sucked.

I think everyone has lied about being sick, it started when we were kids. If I miss work due to a sick day then I feel no guilt at all, in fact I feel good because I get some payback for all the years they've gotten free labor from me.

I've called in sick due to wanting to do something with the kids. I never felt a least bit guitly! Then again, I missed work so rarely...until I figure I owed it to myself....AND my kids.

I've always had jobs though that really didn't accept too many days missed. I've worked 21 days in a ROW and didn't take a day off.

I give so much time to my job that I don't get paid for which is why I feel no guilt if I take some time for myself.
