I would think if people have more money....then new jobs automatically come from them being able to afford new things.
I would just feel bad as an affluent person having all these services cheap...while there are people on the outskirts still living in mudhuts and without running water.
This is why I have to stay Republican. If I were to become a do-gooder liberal...I'd go so overboard in my sympathy....I'd mess up a whole country and it's economy.

See, I'd much rather have a small bbq on a campfire and maybe a wobbly pop or two instead of a big fancy meal anywhere. I'm sick of the hustle and bustle of the big city, life here seems much colder to me and far less friendly than in a smaller town.

Could be why you are still single.

Some people confuse single life with lack of opportunity instead of lack of desire. ;-)
Simply put, I don't like to be bossed around and to me, the word compromise means we both bend, not I bend in one of two directions that seem to be my only choices.

Or: he is unable to make the princess bend over and kiss the frog.

I think I'd kill to live in NY. The museums, the bars, the money, the lifestyle... arrgghh, it all sounds soo... appealing! Fast life, I'm adicted to it.
Or in a tranquil suburb, with a big forest near by (I'm a Gemini, I'm never decided).

With real trees, or do skyscrapers suffice?
No, I like big cities, as there are lots of things to do. But I don't want to be part of the hectic and high-speed life, with constant parties, rushing, and racing yourself to death. So it would probably be the case, that I would end up in one of the suburbs.

Can't decide, V.!
I get your point. I need silence and tranquility for the time spent with myself, but I'm too outgoing to chose this as a lifestyle.

I think it would always make a difference if you were a single person or if you already have a family.....as to where you would want to live.

I WOULDN'T WANT TO LIVE IN ANY CITY. I WANT TO LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH MY CLOSEST NEIGHBOR AT LEAST A MILE AWAY. I HATE LARGE CITIES.
HOWEVER... FOR THE SAKE OF THE THREAD....
I'D SAY WILMINGTON, NC. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL TOWN.

HAHA Ayla! You know you are a good southern girl when you would chose Wilmington, NC to any city in the world!
I wouldn't want to live in the midst of a huge city all my life...but it would fun for awhile to check out another country or area for a year.

Eventually I'll go to Israel-I think the serious believers will end up there because of religious intolerance...
