BAD WEEK
ergg, I haven't talked to yau'll in awhile because those stupid Road Runner problems, I've had the week from Hell.
1st that Clunk O Junk car Greg bought me stalled 16 times in one day so we wen't to buy a new/ used car. We split the cost of a 2000 KIA Sephia with only 60k miles on it, I fuigured this car is much safer than the clunk O junk, it has airbags and no payments so I'll buy it. I was so excited that my new/ used veichel was paid for, looked nicer and I didn't feel like a beverly hillbilly driving it, well 28 hours later driving home from my friends opening of his art gallery PLOP the dammed car BROKE DOWN ON A 2 LANE BRIDGE!!! So my Pregasourus arse got out of the car crying like a maniac and kicked the stupid KIA ( witch now has a new meaning KIA= Kick in Arse) and actually got my foot stuck in the fender I finally yanked my foot out now it has a huge dent in it and the Transmission needs to be rebuilt   I called my bank cancelled my check and called the dealer left a nasty message telling them to come get there stinkin car ect and took a cab home after some guys helped me push the car off the bridge. Now they are trying to sue me for 4K that I cancelled the check for.....
And if that wasn't bad enough, now I have NO car plus the Gregster and I have attended 2 counceling sessions and now he wants to work on our " relationship" and he quit drinking.... :? and I am so completely over it, and him and stuff I just want to run farrrrrrrr away.
I always have Drama

I was just saying to my daughter yesterday Stone that if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. It seems you and I have the very same problems and I feel sorry for you if that's the case.
I'm not sure about there, but up here I believe a dealership has to give you some kind of warranty coverage on a vehicle, regardless of make, model, year, etc. The best thing you can do is ALWAYS make a point of asking before you buy "what happens if something goes wrong with this car?"
I know I've mentioned this before in other topics and I'll mention it again, go see a lawyer and get a free consultation. Until you've done it, you'll never realize how big of a help they can be. Maybe I was lucky and saw a really good lawyer, but this guy knew everything and gave me such good insight on setting up a business that I was in awe, and still am. Many lawyers offer free 1/2 hour consultations so have a list of questions and grill him/her with them, that's what I did.
It may work out that the dealership is putting unwanted stress on the fetus and you can countersue. You have two things going for you:
1 ) your pregnant and scientifically proven to not have full control of your body
2) you live in the States (no offense, but the US will take anything to court).
I'm not sure about the dent though, you may be on the hook for that. If so, I'd be sure to mention that you want to get seperate quotes that are not from the dealership because I guarantee you they'll try and rip you off.

I guess you won't know until Monday what the deal is with the car....but I believe you are protected by the lemon law in Florida.

I can actually look into creating T-shirts if you guys are interested. The problem is that the more options you offer, the higher the price per shirt.

That depends on what you call expensive, each shirt can be under 20 bux if you supply artwork and look around for a competative price. I managed to make under 50 shirts for 8 - 10 bux each a few years back.

thats not bad, yeah i considered a lot of money to be around $20 each...if you make a hundred its like $5 each. I think once the site gets a bit bigger make shirts.

? 8O ?
Troubles always seem to come together don't they? In the midst of all the home crap I'v been through this week I got my first ever speeding and parking tickets. The parking ticket was was an outrage, the metre was bust but I can't prove it and I suppose I should have checked the ticket . Just how hard did you kick that car? Must have been giving it a bit of welly (do you have this phrase there?) to break the radiator. Think of it as therapy. Your luck will turn for the better soon, stone.

Thanks for the much needed smile. :?
Stone, I hope one day you at least can look back on all this and laugh. I did feel sorry for you and the trouble with your car and recovering alcoholic friend. The way you told the story though (Pregosaurus? You are pregnate?) was funny.
Sorry if this is offensive. I get the feeling from reading it that you are able to see a little humor in whatever life throws at you. I think people like this are the strong and will survive no matter what.
