Any WW 2 Historians Here?

I'm looking for great battles of WW 2 invlolving air and land. I need as much details as possible because I'll be creating a few movies about them over the next while.

i'm not an actual historian, but feel free to ask me any questions on war related things.

I think I know the most about operation overloard (the whole thing involving D-Day in france) if you're looking for information on air and ground for one single battle.
If not that, then probably wake island.

If I can get it I'd love to script a battle between HE-111, BF 109, or FW 190 vs either US, British or Russian Planes. I need a large scale air battle though, the more planes the merrier.

I'll definately be scanning it closely over the next while to see what I can come up with. I was going to make a quick mission for just a quick action movie but instead ended up trying to figure out LOMAC, man that game makes IL 2 look like Pac Man when it comes to learning curve.
