Do you ask for advice in a difficult situation?
How do you handle unsolicited advice?
Do you give advice when someone just may want you to listen? I have someone in my life who can't resist giving advice when all I want to do is get something off my chest...I've stopped sharing with this person...
When someone does give you advice, do you take it or wait to solve the problem on your own?

I take advice any time a day, because I'm too goddamn impulsive and think the wort of everyone and everything. Meaning I'm exagerating the importance of bad things happening to me.

So any cool approach, in touch with reality is good for me.

When I feel like getting things off my chest, I talk to my sister. she's the only person I really open up to. I've had two other very good friends, but they both left France. It's really hard to start rebuilding friendships :? , but at least I'm meeting new people and that's interesting.

I barely ever look for advice, but I don't mind giving it. I posted roughly 700 posts (including the crash in March), and started 1 one single thread over here, and on LoveShack it is even worse. 1200 posts 0 started threads.

It does not mean, that I am always certain of everything I do. I always have concerns with legal issues. As I cannot comprehend the utter ridiculousness of procedures, that could have been kept simple with a few measures.

I seek advice at times but I hardly take it, usually I already have my mind made up, I just need to hear someone elses opinion to way against my own.

I tell people straight up if I don't want their advice or opinion, no use wasting time beating around the bush IMO.

When I asked the question, I was thinking of face-to-face advice....which on hindsight, probably doesn't make much sense....

I only ask for advice if it's something extremely serious that i can't handle on my own and need help with finding a solution. I don't take advice given to me at heart and usually will practice it.

I took it in the wrong context I think because to me advice can come from anywhere in any form. Even a gut feeling to me is biological advice that I regret if I don't listen.
