Advertising Programs

I'm currently looking into a few advertising campains such as adsense by google. I will likely rearrange all the footers to contain some sort of advertising campain in hopes of bringing some money into the site. I know we don't get a lot of traffic dynamic traffic by comparison to other sites, but our exposure is increasing daily so that does mean some visitors. I've also been logging IP's here and there and know for a fact that we have some repeat guests that have not registered but return for content purposes.

In case any of you are concerned about me adding ads to the site, please allow me to lay your fears to rest. You will not see scrolling ads or marquees, pop ups, pop unders, or mouseover .wav files. Ad's will be placed where they can be seen but not interfere in any way with the usage and browsing of the site.

This is why I feel the footers have the best place for these ads is in the footers. I'll re-arrange them so as to utilize the space much more efficiently and likely place smaller links to the sister sites in the overall header.

adsense is probably the least intrusive, but it only pays for clicked links.

Yeah I'm aware of that and if it doesn't generate anything inside of 6 months then it was obviously a mistake. I'm in no hurry really but I do need to start somewhere before the cost of running these sites, plus other planned ones, skyrockets too much.
