Admitting guilt
Why is it that most people seem to hide behind lies rather than admitting that they screwed up? For the life of me I can't understand why many of the adults I know will turn to lies and bs when it comes to admitting their wrong. What is the big deal with being honest and saying you're guilty, then moving on?
The deeper I wade into the management pool, the more I find it's littered with completely useless body parts that happen to be attached to actual people.

lol you should come work with at my company, I think you'd really enjoy it, plus we could use someone to help clean house.
I don't know why, it's sad and they just dig themselves into a pit they can't get out of.

I'm in a big hole at work. Lost, on average, an employee a month for the past 5 months. Summer holidays were taken and little or no labor to replace the shortages. We're backed up the worsed we've been in 5 years I bet and it all looks like it's completely my fault.
Management is really great sometimes. I spend enough time at my day job for not nearly enough coin. Maybe I'll take you up on your offer Paul and become a production employee again. Hell, I've even had customers joke about giving me a job because of my knowledge and skillset. If the bux were right I'd prolly leave in a hot second.
I do love my job a lot though, I just can't understand why they refuse to pay for the value of the employee. If I quit today, the company would definately survive, but they would also feel the loss. I guess that's the part that bugs me the most, there really is no return on investment for me.
Oh well, time to start polishing up the old resume.

About the money....some companies are just CHEAP! When I worked for British Airways they nickeled and dimed their employees so much until everyone just about hated them! It looks like they would notice that unless you pay employees well....those employees are going to have low morale and not work as hard for you....not to mention LEAVE as soon as they can find employment elsewhere.
About the stupidity......those people keep spawning and creating more. They are taking over the world at an alarming rate!!!!

nickeled and dimed = An American phrase?

Well I guess it's driving me toward another future anyway so in a contorted kind of way I should prolly be thanking them.

In my experience, it seems it's much easier for people to blame someone else than look inward or take responsibility!

...and that's the perfect recipe for creating jaded employees. Passing the buck has become predominant in the working world for some reason.

Are you considering a woman with a case of beer, having improved looks / attitude, than without?
