Anyone else notice the date today

Now that you mention it, yes.

I'd spit on my monitor if I had to read it aloud

I hadn't noticed either until you mentioned it. I find 1th rather odd. I wonder why it did that instead of 1st

It does it because it's a horrible javascript date/time script that I've picked up off the net.

This theme is actually my very first one created from scratch (using vBulletin default) so the learning curve associated with it has been a bit steeper than I'm used to especially given the difficulty in creating continuity between the forums (vBulletin) and the main site (Joomla).

I've since found a nice .php date script to replace it with and will also tackle the search function and blank space next to the header all at the same time.

Is there a way to just remove the "st", "rd", "th" etc from the script altogether??? It isn't really necessary.

I would but then it doesn't match the main site. This isn't the only issue with this script anyway, it screws up page formatting when hitting refresh in Firefox so it's gotta go anyway.

After toiling over this one issue virtually forever, I finally fixed the st, nd, rd, output along with the firefox date stacking issue. As it turns out, for whatever reason firefox does not like + " " + in javascript, there must be   between the " " such as + " " +

Go figure

That is always the problem with code. Slight randomness.
