Personally, I think once you have to begin questioning the motives of your S.O. -for ANY reason....the relationship is at an all time low....if even significant at all.

I think a lot of people play with love and it's feelings like it was a board game. If YOU aren't serious and your PARTNER isn't serious.....it is a JOKE.....not a RELATIONSHIP.

The person you love in your life is where you hide in refuge when the whole world crashes around you. If that person is part of the crash.....the whole point of a relationship looses it's meaning. If they are the source of the pain or wonderment or dissatisfaction.....they are no longer the answer or place of safety.

If someone wasn't my 'safe place'...then they just became part of the problem. Fixing that relationship would not be an issue. The issue would be getting out as fast as I could.

I always give people the benifit of the doubt and think there telling the truth, I get burned alot in business, friendships, and realtionships because I can't tell when someone is lying to me.

I want to teach my son that there is no lying accepted, he is testing me so he is lying alot ( or just having a 4 year old imagination).

But as far as other people lying to you I think before you can confront them about there lies you must have Proof and FActs or they will just continue to lie.

Well...if it's your children lying...there may be reasons or it maybe part of growing up.

If it's your SO or another adult....then I don't know that I would mention it. I would simply phase myself out of their life.

All is fair DA with internet lying....if it's part of your persona online. I can remember when no one even gave real names in any way online. Only if you engage in an intimate relationship or friendship is revealing the real you a must.

I dont lie online for the most part, its mostly white lies anyway, or exaggerations. I try hard not too, but i got in a bad habit. It isnt all that bad, im still reliable.

I try to keep it pretty honest online. I may have told small white lies like I think Merika is good looking, but I consider those nice lies.

Anyway, anyone can get away with lying to me and thats fine and dandy. Just don't be shocked when I have nothing to do with you should I find out.

I never lie online. It's too hard to manage who I've lied to, and keep 'em up--If you think you're an awful liar in real life, wait until you try it with faceless people you've never met and only know by their font color!

Edit: I do choose female names/avatars when I ask for computer help at forums. I just have found I get helped quicker.
