A Tribute to Duke
As Duke nears his 20,000th Post, Vautrin made a Wonderful Suggestion to honor him. When I asked Vautrin if we should wait until Duke's 20,000th Post or just when he nears it, Vautrin said and I quote: "If we could post it when he hit 20,000 that would be awesome. However, knowing the spammer Ken is, he will start a "Holy cr@p, 20,000 posts!" before that. Best beat him to it." I laughed hysterically and totally agreed.
Anyway, Duke, when you nagged and nagged and nagged me some more about buying a new Computer, getting hooked up to the Internet, and coming aboard Lifesupporters; getting rid of my relic of a computer; I NEVER in my wildest dreams knew what was in Store for me. Actually, I was/still am Computer illiterate and was terrified; imagine, the World reading my Posts. When I realized just how much the World would gain from my extensive Wisdom and Experience, I relaxed! Obviously, when Duke asked me to join, he MUST have appreciated my Wisdom, Wit, and Knowledge, or he wouldn't have asked me to join,..now...would he??
Now time to get serious! Duke, you are an Amazingly Wonderful, Compassionate, Caring, Loving Human Being and I am fortunate to have been chosen by God to be your Mother. (Here come the tears, I can't see the screen, my heart is SO full!)..I honestly believe our children are our Gifts and as your Mother, I think I have learned more from you than you ever have from me! I treasure and cherish you beyond words, but you already know that, but since you also know how I LOVE to repeat myself, it came in handy THIS time to use that habit!
Thank you for your hard work here, your chosen path for Lifesupporters that you never compromise or sway from (I applaud you!), thank you for all the people you have helped by setting up this Amazing Website and are sharing joys and sorrows with each other, thank you for being the one to be the vehicle to bring these amazing people into my life, and most of all, teaching me how to Spam!
Love Always and Forever, Mimmy
Congratulations on this Phenomenal Milestone, Duke!
