I realized that some of my coworkers are actually friends now, we started hanging out and stuff, the good thing is that we get along and have similiar interests, the bad thing is that i am spending lots of money on video games now. I am hoping that friends leads to meeting girls, but im not sure if it will happen, as they are all nerdy, and one is married, though to a stripper, so maybe she has fun stripper friends.

Seriously, chances improve substantially with the spending the money on the "right" interests.
But good to say you are able to make new friends in a new setting, in such a short amount of time. Since you are out of college it is much harder to keep in good contacts with your friends from then.
