I only have a cousin who went to jail one night. He illegally tuned his moped and got caught doing 80 MPH in a residential zone, and failed to stop for the police. He got chased through town, he escaped, but they picked him up at home. He had to serve 80 hours of community work after his night in jail. (he was 16 at the time).
That's about as bad as it gets in my family I think.

My fathers father who is now no longer with us had stockade tattoos (they signify you've been in the Royal Navy prison) on his arms. He never mentioned them, he never explained them, I don't think anyone ever realised what they were. No one knows anything about when and why he got them and its a bit late to ask him or his wife who also passed away.

One of my cousins is serving like 4 life sentences for murder.
He got into some sort of Satan worship and he ... well i wont go into details it's rather gory...

1 of my uncles shuold have been in the clink for always drink driving without a license. got caught 3 times. supposedly 3rd time and your in jail especially driving without a license. he hasn't done it since, lucky for him then I guess
