I can't stand them when I see them the balme everything on me and make me miserable then they have the nerve to act like grandparents of the year!

stoneheather, no. the father isn't in the picture at all which is fine by us. We put unknown father on the registration. She doesn't know the guy's full name and has no idea where he is or how to find him so he's not in the picture at all.
Now back to the topic.
I hate my brother in law. Not too many people like him to begin with. he's a total jerk off and I have no use for him at all. He's a poor excuse for a human being.

I have a strange conglomeration of a family. I was married to even a STRANGER congomeration. Other than my immediate family, I'm not in contact with family members on either side except an occasional aunt and uncle.
I find that to be sad too. I wish my kids had access to a great big family with cousins and relatives who gather for Christmas and such. I always hate going to the park at the beach on holidays....and here are all these cool extended families doing stuff together. That would be wonderful.

Sadly enough, Beanie's mom.
At first, we got along really well. Then, she started to not like me. I'm still not really sure why, but I'm betting that her new boyfriend has something to do with it. They're both very country, and in my opinion somewhat ignorant, and I think they feel threatened by me.
Recently, she accused me of stealing 10 bucks and a pack of ciggs from her. and her pig farmer boyfriend. Her boyfriend had left them out in the open, and when Beanie and I left from visiting that weekend they were gone. Of course...they couldn't have lost them. :P
Anyway, NO, in case you were wondering, I didn't steal them. I was not raised that way, and I make enough money to where I don't need to steal. What I can't pay for, I don't need that badly.
Anyway, she also doesn't like me when Beanie and I have problems. She blames them all on me, when it goes both ways. She thinks I'm too hard on him and that I want too much from him.
My deal is that Beanie's actions directly affect me- for instance, if he spends too much, drinks too much, etc, all of that makes my life harder. I do my best to save money, and I don't like having to pay for things that are his responsibility because he'd rather get drunk.
His mom is one of those women who never had any ambition for herself. Much like Beanie was earlier in our relationship, she spent all of her money on beer and weed. She drifted from abusive man to abusive man, and usually put Beanie's needs second to her own.
At one time, her own sister nearly took Beanie from her when he was one year old due to her neglect.
Anyway, I'm not sure what I'm wanting. Maybe I need some advice on how to make the situation better...but the thing is that I've tried. I've called her and sent her a letter. She blows me off, and it seems like she just enjoys disliking me.
We live too far away for a face to face event. Any suggestions?

I think if you and Beanie ever get married or have kids.....you should plan to move quite a distance from BOTH of your moms. LOL!

Nope, his family is really great. His dad adores me and we get along just fine. IT's harder with his mom, but I try to let it flow and not overdue it.
She's a school principal at a private Catholic school in a little town near Paris.
Ludo has an older sister. She's 35, alone, a teacher but didn't pass all her exams yet. She likes to be in the center of the attention, but then, hey, it's her family, it's her right.
We got along quite well until last time I visited when she got a lil' bit weird. Didn't talk much and was a bit under the weather. But was wearing the bracelet I gave her for Christmass.
I keep my fingers crossed, I can't STAND dramma, especially when it envolves parents, mine or his.
Apparently Ludo has an uncle who lives in the South who's always telling sex jokes, is a bit of a mysogin and adores wine. I didn't meet him yet, I wonder why  ? His sister isn't even coming for supper when she knows he's coming, :P !
Every family must have one!

If you ever have a child, it will be a Beanie Baby.

Silly Twinkle. Perhaps it was more my fault. I didn't know whether it was preffered to add on to an old thread or start a new one. So, I opted for being thrifty and using an old one. Ah well! Sorry for the confsion..
