As a kid....
Did you have any friends left over, who you still keep in touch with, from when you were a kid in school?

I do. My best friend and I have been friends since the 3rd grade. I still talk to another one of my friends from the 10th grade.

I had two best friends. On of them moved away from my city when she was 14 to live with her father. The other one eloped when she was 16. I tried to keep intouch with them, but even when I was back home, the distance was very big.
However, I have 2 friends I met at the end of highschool and we still keep intouch.

lol.
Actually, I have been getting kinda distant from a friend i've had since i was like 2 (he's a year younger than me). Kinda sad, but we're both changing.
Since I've never been to public school, I only had like 5 friends when i was younger (even a couple years ago), and i hardly talk to them anymore, but it's ok.

I don't stay in touch very well. Unless someone is on my email list...they never hear from me personally. I think that's why my parents finally got a computer a couple of years ago.

No; with one person from elementary school I keep somewhat in touch, but it is highly irregular.
And of secondary school, I keep in touch with only one person. And that is funny, because in school we barely spoke to each other. Which is very regular.
And from university noone really stands out, and I am not keeping in contact with anyone I met there.
My longest lasting friendship is 25 years now.

sort of
From Elementary school-
My mom taught (and still teaches) where I went to Elementary school, so there is one! LOL! You can just IMAGINE how much fun THAT was.
There is one person that I sort of keep in touch with from there...we were friends through elem, middle, and high.
Middle school- I'd rather forget about that period in my life.
Highschool- Yeah, some folks there I still keep in touch with. Maybe 3 or 4.
College- oh yeah. Beanie, and lots of other people, whom I miss very badly, and some of which are still some of my best friends.

Oddly enough, coming from a small city, I don't even see the people I went to school with...
Of course, I didn't go to school where I live now, but it wasn't that far away...
The friends I have made are all after the school days...

You wrote it in such a way, as to suggest that the marriage was the reason not to keep in touch.
