Are you the person now that you imagined yourself to be when you were growing up? What did your parents want you to be or do? Are your parents proud of you? Are you proud of you?

I don't know if I am the person I wanted to be. I do know I am not doing what I wanted to as a kid. I always wanted to be a nurse. My mom never said what she wanted me to be. That isn't her way. I know she is proud of me. Some things in me I am proud of, others I am not.

Well, I don't know if my parents really expected/wanted anything for me career wise growing up. Dad says his only goal was that I wasn't drinking alcohol before I was 18. Which, btw, he succeeded.
I wanted to be a Phys Ed teacher, a Cop and a writer. I guess the writer thing is the only achievable goal in my mind anyway. Don't really want to go back to school to teach a bunch of undisciplined little arses and then everybody blame me for their cruddy behaviour. The youth of today.... *sigh* lol
