Default How Do You Keep in Touch with Loved Ones?

Letters, phone calls, or e-mails? Do you do it often? Do you wait for them to contact you first? If you haven't heard from a friend in a while, would you contact him/her or let the friendship go?

Do you get upset with friends that move and promise to stay in touch but never do? How many times would you try to contact them before you give up?

Default Re: How Do You Keep in Touch with Loved Ones?

I mostly use e-mail. My mom is the exception. She has an e-mail account but doesn't use it too much. I call her when I want to talk and I try to do it often. Sometimes it is a month between talks however. As for friends, if I have their e-mail I keep in touch. If I don't have their e-mail than I haven't seen them in years and don't keep up with them anymore. I used to send birthday cards, etc but never heard from most of them so got tired and stopped.
