Default Home is Where The Heart Is

How old were you when you moved away from your parent's home? Have you ever had to go back to stay longer because of reasons such as financial ones? Did your parents want you to stay longer? Was it difficult leaving your childhood home?

Default Re: Home is Where The Heart Is

I moved out at 17 When I went into the military. After the military I lived with them for like 3 months untill I found a new place of my own. I never went back even when I was in situations where I had a very poor financial situation. I've had times where I didn't eat 1 week a month for months due to 'cashflow problems'. Learned a lot in those days
My parents wouldn't mind me staying longer I guess. Leaving home wasn't difficult for me, but it was hard for my mother to let go for a while.
