Default Favoratism

This happens on gerry's side of the family a lot, not in mine.

For example. Gerry's mother and her husband were down on saturday until sunday. they had to catch a plane to go to BC on sunday for a week's holiday to visit family. Do you think she called her son on saturday to let him know she was in town? NO!! she came into town at 10:00 am on saturday and I know because she stopped off at my brother in law's place to drop off some lawn furniture to them. sis in law told me.

She called gerry at 1:30 pm yesterday and told him she was leaving at 4 pm to catch the plane. so, of course gerry wants to run over to his sister's house (that's where she ALWAYS stays) to see her so, we pack up the kids and make our way there for a couple hours. They had a party saturday night apparently.

I am so sick and tired of gerry always getting the a$$ end of the stick when it comes to his family. Favoritism is everywhere in that family and it's sickening!

Favorite grandchildren are the two girls that belong to her oldest daughter and the 2 boys that belong to her youngest daughter. The rest are put on the back burner all the time. she's got 11 grandchildren and only 4 of them seem to matter the most. She's got only one great-granchild that she can't seem to go out of her way to see! and that peeves me off to the max! what made me even more upset was when she seen erika, she says "come see gramma!" like hello?!? you're not gramma, i am!!

I've told gerry before that she's always bypassed him and gone straight to her daughters and it does hurt him a lot. she sold the farm house that she promised she would sell to gerry one month before we were able to buy it! there is so much more it isn't funny.

I'm tired of all this favoritism in that family. My family isn't like that at all. My parents treat every single member of our family the same. They treat the in laws like their own kids.

any favoritism in your families?

My family is too small to show favorites. The kid's Dad, however, was NOT the favorite and it did hurt him alot. I'm not sure why a Mom chooses one child over the next......but I know it happens. Maybe it was the child who was easier to raise or was more affectionate....I just don't know. Mine aggravate me equally....so no problem with that in MY household. LOL!
