Do you have long-time friends?

I have one that I worked with in Retail twenty-five years ago...she keeps in touch no matter what, if I do or I don't. She never forgets my birthday and always sends a card at Christmas. I also have a long-time friend that I've known for twenty-five years. We write and sometimes we phone and we keep the memory of his wonderful wife alive by sharing memories of her.

Not really. I am not a people's person, so I don't spend a lot of time with people in real life (not my nature); and it is against my nature too to beg for people's attention.

I have a number of friends that I've kept in touch with for 5 years and up (which to me is long term). I even have a few good friends that I've known for 10 years +.

i have my best friend in the whole world (more like the sister i never had type relationship) that i've been friends with since the 3rd grade, plus i have another friend that i just reconnected with (after 10 years of not talkng all because our husbands got into a fight about stupid tools) that i've been friends with since i was 16 (she's my other best friend) and another that i have been friends with since i was 15. i also have a friend who i've been friends with since krystal's been 7 months old so, for 17 years now.

when i make a friend, a real friend, they're usually life time friends. true friends are friends who you can stop talking to them for years and years then reconnect and it feels like those years were never missing. i hold my close friends dear to my heart.

Yeah I guess so. I'm still friends with all of my close buddies from highschool. About 10 years now actually.

The two girls I grew up with are like sisters to me. They are actually sisters and I have known them since I was 2 so that means we have been friends for 44 years (yeah I am old). I went to visit them last year around this time. I can't wait until I can visit them again. We keep in touch via e-mail mostly. I miss them terribly.
