Being jealous

i hate being jealous, and I am right now, and i dont like it, but i feel like there is nothing that i can do about it. my friend that visited went home and ended up making out with a girl for the first time. i should be happy for him, but i am jealous and it bothers me, its all he wants to talk about, and it the one thing i dont, cause it makes me last out of my friends, and reinforces my negative self image. on the other hand if gives me motivation and i can push myself a lot harder.

"Pushing" may be too harsh a word depends how you mean it, how about just being natural like you are on here? You have a GREAT sense of humour, actually I'd PUSH on that!

pushing tends to be physical, like in a workout sense, or doing things more impulsively

not trying doesn't mean not talking to people da. what tk means by that (correct me if i'm worng) i think is stop thinking about getting a girlfriend and this one's hot, that's one's hot and just go with the flow. you will find that special girl when it's time. when you least expect it. i met my boyfriends in the weirdest places and it always happened when i wasn't looking or trying.

if you keep dwelling on this da, it won't happen. you need to relax and just go with the flow of things.

another thing. being jealous of a friend's good fortune isn't really being a friend is it. be happy for your friend because when the time is right, it it happens to you, he'll be there being happy for you as well.

Not everyone can start off dating models. I've dated a few, and I can tell you right now that they weren't at the beginning.

You might of set the bar a little too high, try knocking it down a couple notches.

i dont think im too picky, as long as they are not ugly, i would date them, however i am more picky with who i approach.

Just a gentle thought for you, DA; sometimes the not-so-good-looking girls have the greatest hearts and will make a much better partner than the great looking girls...

I couldn't of said that better myself. looks are only the outer package. the wrapping so to speak. it's what's inside that really counts.

if they approach me ill give them a fair chance, i just dont approach them...but really i dont approach anybody often, otherwise maybe i would talk to less attractive girls
