Andrea Moves Out
I returned home from work last night at about 10 to find Andrea and her anorexic support group waiting for me in the dark living room. I was not too tired to be unsettled by the sight of 6 anorexic females and one male waiting for me in silence. This is by far one of the stranger things Andrea has done. I told her and our hollow eyed audience that I had been looking for her for the past couple of days. I apologized for yelling and cursing at her.
They all just stared at me in silence until Andrea finally spoke. She explained that for her own good she had to move out because I was so "abusive." She said she had packed her belongings and would be moving in with Richard (the anorexic guy).
I just said "OK" and went to bed.
This morning I called Richard's number and told Andrea that I did not think it was fair for her just to leave. I think she should have to find a roomate for me before she goes. I do not have time to search for one but I cannot afford to pay rent on my own!!! I told her that she was breaking our lease and that it would go on her record as a lease jumper if she did not at least find a replacement.

by rights, she should've helped to find a new roomate but in reality, would you really want her to find you one considering she's got a ton of problems and hangs with people who have simailar problems?
I also think that the best thing to do here would be to put up flyers, perhaps an add in the local newspaper and find your own roomate. I'm sure you can find one before the month is up and rent is due on the first again.

Have you been screaming a her and calling names? why?
This girl is a bit of a loon. She's moving in with a guy, again? Me thinks she needs some one to one action and is just using this excuse to move out with the her new interest.
I'd never voluntarily live with a man, he can be the sweatest man on Earth. It's just not right.
I think that's Andrea's modus operandi, since she's unable to have a normal relationship. You were probably the initial victim, but given that you didn't fall for her game, she decided to look for a more willing player.

The guest pointed me to the incident where Rock cursed and shouted at Andrea.
I get it. She's not well, so maybe indeed she's afraid to stay near you, which is a shame really, because it shows that she'll never be able to integrate in a normal group of people, but would prefer to be sheltered by everyone and everything.
Too bad for her. I hope you find a room mate soon. Try a sane one this time, Rock!

Oh, I don't mean to make the new room mate pass complex psychological tests, but you know, the usual: not abusing illegal substances or alcohol, have normal friends and a rather normal family, at ease with their sexuality - yet without transforming your appartment into a brothel, no superiority on inferiority complexes... that's all I can think of for the moment.

Twinkle, depending on your criterium of 'normal' family, less than 1 percent of the population would qualify. Perhaps 2 percent, if you would allow for Canadians, lol.
But seriously, Rock needs to find a replacement roommate as soon as possible. Formally Andrea probably would need to do that, but the chances of that happening are slim.
And as frustrating as it may seem, but if he does not find one quickly, he is working one or two jobs to pay for something he does not even use, or he is getting himself involved in all kinds of judicial hassle, which he does not need.

I do not expect to find any perfect roomate but would prefer they not run a brothel.LOL
This is very serious Vautrin. I must find a roomate. Andrea says she will not pay more than half this month rent but has agreed to help find a roomate to pay the other half of the month. She said she will introduce him to me this weekend.

Maybe the next time it would be good to get something in writing, a contract, with a first, last and small damage deposit. Then if someone does move out unexpectantly.....you still have some cash to fall back on.
