Wonderful article, Duke!

"tell them you love them
hug them and be close as much as possible
listen to them if they have something to say, they won't always want to talk to you later in life
cherish and appreciate them as they are a part of you"

I hope I did all those well, I sure tried with all my heart!

Much of what I do I learned from you mim so you should be proud of that fact.

I tell my daughter I love her as much as possible, usually no less than 10 times/day. Even when we're not doing much, we're still close enough and communicating with each other. I believe we're really close and can only hope the groundwork I've laid through the past 12 years continues to be built upon throughout the course of our lives.

WOW! Thank you! I am deeply touched by that! But then you boys were so easy to love, you were so great as boys and continue in the same way as men!

It definitely will! Throughout our lives we ALWAYS remember those that continually told us how much we are loved and always hold those people close in our hearts! She will ALWAYS carry that love with her, and since you both are able to discuss so much, you can almost bet that you will be the one she turns to when she needs help, advice, or just to cry on your shoulder if the need arises...
