Default Your favorite family games.

What are your favorite family games?

Personally, I prefer Rummoli and just playing cards over pretty much everything else. I do love chess as well but I suck at it.

I love Rummoli, Trivial Pursuit, Verish-Neverish (Russian game, very analytical and could be a very long card game when trying to figure out if the other card players are lying or telling the truth, one of the highlights of my young life playing it with my Dad!) Charades is fun but haven't played it in a long, long time! Loved playing "Candyland" with Dwoing. "Operation" was fun! "Go Fish", "Piggies", "Old Maid", and "Crazy Eights" is fun! "Nutsy Tennis" was fun! "Skipbo" and "Tile Rummy" is fun! ....I guess I can say I've just about enjoyed every game I played...except when Duke and his brother were cheating...then I tended to get overly critical with the Rules of the game which would make them cheat even more...just to see me get my dander up..they would say and laugh "It's only a game...relax"...those little b*ggers!

Oh...wasn't I clear?...You both cheated on any game you could...and because I was such a trusting Mother I didn't pick up on it for years just like the unwrapping of Christmas presents and you know what I'm talking about! Then when I finally realized my two good little boys were scamming me for years, all the hostility of not playing fair started to unravel..

You can choose to remember things in a negative light, I prefer to think of my style of play as creative.

Honey, I'm not negative...it's the truth I tell...yes, I must add it was pretty creative on you and your brother's part...

HAHA....Duke cheating on cards!

I used to play Rummy endlessly. My friends and family played so much until we finally got tired of it. It's now been several months.

The kids and I will play one of the trivial persuit games we have (CD and cards) every now and then. We would play more but Jackson is quite the sore loser.

Well...the HISTORY of the game was a little bizarre....but it sounded interesting. I'll ask the kids if they want to check it out and we'll try to play it.
