I think it's good to cry when you feel badly...imagine feeling unhappy and not be able to cry...it's got to build up inside...and that's not good!

Being a man, then do you agree that it is good that men cry and admit they do?
I don't think it makes a man seem less of a man if he admits it. I, for one, would admire him all the more...

Just curious, when men get together they talk about sports, women, jokes, but W-h-y is it so difficult to talk about feelings? Why does it seem shameful to guys to talk to other guys about how they feel?

Most of it has to do with societal conditioning. Popular images that a man should not cry, but be strong, and all the blah blah. Add to that, that most of us are taught that feelings are illogical, "weak" et cetera, it is simply not done to talk about feelings for a man to other men - and if not drunk men are probably very specific in whom they open up to with regards to their feelings.

Do you think that image is likely to change or is in the process of changing in this age?

feelings make us weak, not having emotion allows for rational decisions under stress. I know im good at pushing out emotions in order to do something, i was stuck in an elevator once with this girl who went hysertical, i calmed her down and was able to get help to get us out.
