What tickles your funny bone?...
This just cracks me up every time I think of it...It's about Canadian humour
From Reader's Digest:
Lorne Michaels, the creator of "Saturday Night Live", once remarked of his native land that Canada could never have produced a movie called "It's a Wonderful Life". Way too boastful, he said. Had the perennial holiday favourite been made by Canadians, it's title would instead have been "It's An All-Right Life". LOL
We Canadians are repressed and modest...and we watch way too much curling..
What do you like best about your Country's humour?

I like Looney Leftie Liberal jokes because they are so retarded. They are the group who are all about saving whales but not babies..... tree hugging while missing the point that a population needs housing.....are against liquor and cigarettes while they light up a joint and otherwise live in New England or California. They are all nuts.

I like the quirkyness and self depreciation of British humour. I like comedians who make me laugh at myself or life rather than other people.

I don't like canadian humour for the most part. Our comics make us look like idiots.
*for the most part, but there have been a couple exceptions

So do ours...which annoy me since I don't consider them productive citizens....but yet young people listen to them. I bet 90% don't clear enough to PAY taxes...much less have a governmental opinion. Same way I feel about Hollywood. Why the h*ll would anyone base their opinion on what those nuts think???? That's just assinine.

But why??????????????????????????????????????? :? You have good sense...why would you want to be a part of their retardedness?? They rarely have a personal opinion about anything. They just lump up with a crowd for identity sake. You are better than that.

Well....OK...I wouldn't mind that either....but it doesn't suggest that you have to sell out personal principle or belief. The only time it bugs me is when they give a political opinion on something and I know they are too friggin stupid to understand the concept.....much less have an opinion. Less true of males. Most females are just dumber than dirt.

I have no stance on politics. I could care less really. They're all a bunch of idiots imo.

Personal Politics should never be about the ones who pretend to represent....personal politics are about issues so important to you that you would be willing to die for them. I'm like that. I'd rather see someone shot than see them screw up my country and my children's inheritance. It's really that personal to me. So when someone comes along with a half-baked opinion....I would just as soon whip their A$$ than accept it. I really take it personally.

You know I don't have any issues that I feel really strongly about. *shrugs* I'm all about having a good time and just taking one day at a time. That will probably change sooner or later, but right now my stance is :wha:
