Default Shadowlands

For any adult that has seen and enjoyed tremendously the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia" and are still in that enchanted frame of mind might want to follow up with the movie "Shadowlands" (the 1993 movie starring Anthony Hopkins as C.S. Lewis) a true story of his life.

I just finished watching it and my eyes are swollen from the tears I shed throughout the relationship with his wife. For those of you who have not seen it yet...I will not spoil it for you by giving any of the movie away...

Anthony Hopkins gives a magnificent performance as the beloved C.S. Lewis!

If anyone has seen "Shadowlands" or the "Chronicles of Narnia" or read the books, or only "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" I would love to know what you thought of any or all.

I just loved both these movie experiences!

My daughter LOVES those stories. I don't think she's seen Shadowlands though. I'll ask her about it.

Has Chloe seen "Shadowlands", have you asked her? I am so positive you both will cry through this story...I can't stop raving about Anthony Hopkin's performance as C.S. Lewis....if Chloe or you haven't seen it yet, have on hand either a crying towel or a box of kleenex...it's more heartwrenching because it's a true story of a beloved man and writer...
