I want to find that one on cooking husbands. It's just too intriguing.

I think you take some carrots, celery, potatoes and then just throw the husband into the pot and mix vigorously...

Over here one writer wrote the book (title translated) : "Wednesday. Meat(loaf) day."

Turns out that the book is about how he more or less killed his wife and buried her in the yard. For real. 8O

He murdered her (also for real) on a Wednesday.

Can you imagine a husband pretending to grief for his loss, for years, while actually murdered his wife. And tried to cash in on that, by writing a book on the whole subject? 8O

The title in Dutch is "Woensdag gehaktdag."
There is a noun in the title which is related to the verb for slashing and cutting.

I understood that people convicted of murder could not cash in on books, movies, etc.

Yes. But the police did not catch him at first. Only when he moved (almost a decade after the murder), and the new owners started to dig in the yard, they found what turned out to be the remains of his wife. He should have lived there a decade more, and he would have gotten away with it.
