New Site coming

Soon you'll be able to find all the games and activities the net offers at our sister site: kidzone.lifesupporters.com. The site is up but not yet fully functional.

We'll be offering links to:

- coloring pages
- free games
- puzzles
- cartoon sites
- child news
- computer health

Ya that's what I think.

I have to get that site up and running quick too because it's back to school and my daughter is gonna tell her pals about that site.

I have almost zero time to be online lately but I'd like to help you out as much as possible. If you want to make a list of stuff you want to do and perhaps give me a couple tasks I'm sure I can tackle them a couple hours each day! Just want to help out!

I'm not entirely sure what to do at this point. I think what I'm going to do is make a general page with categories for the main page of the site, edit the logo, add powered by Lifesupporters.com, etc.

We could likely use the following:

- easy nav buttons that are easy to see and re-direct kids to other pages.
- I'll likely create new pages on the site itself with items such as: boys games, girls games, coloring pages, activities, and then split these up by age. Each button opens a new page.
- for now, all re-directs will be text only changing to pictures in the near future.
- not a bad idea to find a template that autostretches to take up the whole page. I'll be writing all html in tables so we can cram all the info we need anywhere on the load page. It doesn't have to be neat, just easy to navigate and have lots of eye candy.

I'll see if I can put together a rough idea this weekend so you can see what I'm talking about. If you have any other suggestions then I'd love to hear them :!:

Update:

For now I'm going to have Dwoing tell her freinds to post links to the kids sites that they know of. We'll build content for the site from these links one at a time with graphics. I've realized text is a bad idea as we're not entirely sure the age of our audience so pictures/text is the best mix, and of course, lots of flash!

It may take some time to get all the links and I'll start posting soon the ones I know of.

Also, all pages will be custom made new pages on the site itself with html tables, etc. I still have to find a template that I like tho.
