Mel Gibson issued a lengthy statement apologizing for his drunk driving arrest and saying he has battled alcoholism throughout his life. no way! why would i stop watching his movies because he made a mistake. he apologized for all of it and i'm sure he's embarassed enough. everyone makes mistakes. I don't think that they should merge his personal life with his professional one. his talent is seperate from his habits. how unfair ABC is being!!

They've been on his back ever since he made the Jesus movie. Beyond that though, lots of people feel Israel should back down from the Hezbollah. He certainly isn't alone in that sentiment. I think he was way out of line to say it, and I disagree with him, but for ABC or anyone else in Hollywood for that matter, trying to act like they are morally outraged is bullcrap.
It won't stop me from seeing his movies. |

he is a part of a strict catholic sect that still holds the jews responsible for killing Jesus. Some of his drunken outbrusts included anti semetic remarks, but its stuff he has said before. As long as he isnt promoting violence or hate i dont have a problem with it.
