Love songs brings your mood up, I thought they depressed most people, especially lonely people.

It would be a refreshing change if someone else was to do it instead of me all the time.

Depends on what's your style. For instance, I loooove Billie Holliday, but after 4 of her love songs you feel like going out and hanging yourself, LOL!!!
Of course, there's rock and ROCK love songs. You have Paul Simon's "5O ways to leave your lover" (loooove the tune, HEather), or Sting's Thomas Affair (Windmills of your mind) or... good ol' rock stuff from Guns and Roses (they soooooooo make me laugh, they remind me of high school).
There's R&B stuff, quite cool, if you like the style. Check some of the old school, like Keith Sweat, or Horace Brown or D'Angelo.
I listen to that because... those songs are funny somehow. They are under no circumstance deep or meaningfull. Just some mellow music. It's bringing me up at times.
Tell us what's your style. I have tons of suggestions.
